Year 3 pupils sewed table decorations for Community Christmas

The Lower School children are busy again making table gifts. These gifts will be used to help decorate the place settings for 100 elderly people who have been invited to share in the ‘Community Christmas’ meal in Sherborne on Christmas Day.

Community Christmas is a charity that ‘believes that no older person in the UK should be alone on Christmas Day unless they want to be.’

The charity encourages communities to provide companionship to older people on Christmas Day by running a community Christmas Lunch event.

Over the next 10 days the Lower School children will be busy sewing lavender bags and making hot chocolate reindeer to support this amazing event.
